Performances and ensembles available
Sandra Layman is available to perform at concerts, festivals, house concerts, private engagements and celebrations, and more. Various combinations of violin with other instruments are generally available.
Sandra can offer an evening of poignant and rousing klezmer music. In addition to appearances with other Seattle musicians, she sometimes appears with Portland-based clarinetist and vocalist Yankl Falk, and soprano sax wizard Lev Liberman.
Another one of Sandra's specialties is Romanian "gypsy" music or muzica lautareasca. She has recently performed a program of this music, as well as Hungarian and other Eastern European music, with the violin-cimbalom duo of Sandra Layman and Alexander Eppler.
Sandra is also available for freelance and session work on violin or viola.
